A Visit to a Temple
Posted by Mark Baker under 2006 Trip to China , Anhai, Jinjiang , Chinese New Year , Fujian Province[2] Comments
We dropped in on a small local temple today, just over the fence from where my Wife attended middle school. The temple has–again reflecting the local “stoneworks” influence–some exquisite carved stone columns and bas relief.
I’ll just let the pictures do the talking.

I do believe you have upgraded your camera since your original trip to China. Quite magnificent pictures at that.

And how!
All the pictures in the 93-94 blog (http://www.chinese-outpost.com/blog) were taken with a so-so 35mm camera and developed at a so-so shop in Fuzhou then scanned in the past year or so. I’m taking pictures here with two digital cameras, one mine and the other my Wife’s Younger Brother’s — his is actually the better one.
